چکیده

Abstract Background Of late, periarticular analgesic injection (PAI) has become a common alternative treatment for pain following total hip arthroplasty (THA). However, the systemic effects of PAI containing corticosteroids in patients subjected to THA have not been investigated. This study evaluated efficacy and corticosteroid THA. Methods single-center, retrospective cohort enrolled undergoing unilateral, primary A 197 (200 hips) were included final analyses, with 87 hips group 113 control group. Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) laboratory data assessed preoperatively on postoperative days (POD) 1 7. Pearson’s correlation coefficients obtained assess correlations between D-dimer level POD 7 each outcome measure 1. Results The white blood cell count (WBC) was significantly higher than Postoperative NRS, creatine phosphokinase (CK), C-reactive protein (CRP) levels lower aspartate transaminase (AST), alanine aminotransferase, urea nitrogen, creatinine within reference ranges. showed significant negative WBC ( r =-0.4652) positive NRS score AST, CK, CRP, = 0.1558, 0.2353, 0.2718, 0.3545, 0.3359, respectively). Conclusions may be an effective inflammation after THA, it does seem cause drug-induced liver or kidney injury. Moreover, can accelerate early ambulation, which prevents elevation levels, reduce risk deep venous thrombosis.

The impact of including corticosteroid in a periarticular injection for pain control after total knee arthroplasty

Bone Joint J 2016;98-B:194–200. Received 29 May 2015; Accepted after revision 8 October 2015 There is conflicting evidence about the benefit of using corticosteroid in periarticular injections for pain relief after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). We carried out a double-blinded, randomised controlled trial to assess the efficacy of using corticosteroid in a periarticular injection to control pai...

Effects of periarticular injection on analgesic effects and NSAID use in total knee arthroplasty and total hip arthroplasty

OBJECTIVES This study examined periarticular multimodal drug injection and the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for an early analgesic effect after total knee arthroplasty and total hip arthroplasty. Patient satisfaction and benefits from the treatment were also assessed. METHODS A total of 110 patients who were scheduled to undergo total knee arthroplasty and 86 patients who were ...

Contralateral deep venous thrombosis after hip arthroscopy.

Since the 1980s, hip arthroscopy has become an accepted treatment modality for a variety of hip conditions. It is generally considered a low-risk procedure with a low rate of complications. The risk of developing a deep venous thrombosis (DVT) or venous thromboembolism following these procedures is also thought to be low, and most patients undergoing these procedures receive no pharmacologic pr...

A venous foot pump reduces thrombosis after total hip replacement.

In a prospective, randomised controlled trial, the efficacy of the A-V Impulse System in the prevention of deep-vein thrombosis was investigated in 84 patients who had undergone total hip replacement. The incidence of venographically proven, and clinically significant postoperative deep-vein thrombosis was 40% in the control group and 5% in the treatment group (p less than 0.001). No adverse re...
